EVERY MINISTRY HAS A BEGINNING, and for us the story of 99+1 From Ashes to Fire Revival Ministry did not begin with a plan, a program, or an organization. It began with a journey of brokenness, redemption, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Like many stories of recovery, our path was not easy. It was marked by seasons of struggle, addiction, and searching for direction. There were times when life felt uncertain and overwhelming, and moments when the future seemed unclear. Yet even in those difficult seasons, God was working behind the scenes, patiently guiding our steps toward something new.
Through faith, grace, and the relentless love of Christ, what once felt like ashes began to become something different. Healing slowly replaced despair. Hope began to grow where discouragement once lived. The same grace that lifts someone out of darkness began shaping a new purpose for our lives.
Along this journey, Sam and I discovered something powerful: the struggles we had walked through were not the end of our story. Instead, they became the foundation for a calling to reach others who may feel forgotten, lost, or beyond hope. We realized that the road God had carried us down could become a path that helps others find their way as well.
The name 99+1 comes from the parable Jesus told about the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine sheep to search for the one who has wandered away. That picture captures the heart of this ministry. We believe every life matters deeply to God, especially the one who feels overlooked, broken, or forgotten.
Today our mission is simple: to walk alongside individuals facing addiction, trauma, and spiritual brokenness and remind them that their story is not over. Through prayer, testimony, outreach, and faith-centered encouragement, we seek to point people toward the same hope and restoration that Christ has given us.
